[Android] Exclamation mark displayed when downloading PDF

This discussion was created from comments split from: Available for beta testing: Zotero for Android.
  • As shown in the figure, I could not download the literature on the Android version, and an exclamation mark was displayed. Please ask what caused it. I used webdav to synchronize the literature, and the phone was Huawei HarmonyOS.

  • Have you confirmed that the file is on the WebDAV server? See Files Not Syncing. If you can't figure it out, we'd need a Debug ID as explained there.
  • I've made sure that the file is on a WebDAV server and that I can download the PDF on my ipad as well.
  • See the rest of my response, then.
  • Thank you. I followed your prompt, and this is my ID of D2105523818.
  • That shows a sync attempt, but I'm not seeing an attempt to open the file there. Are you sure you logged that?
  • This is my Id after re-operation: D881019816.
Do you think this is it?

Do N6G6YJZI.prop and N6G6YJZI.zip exist on the WebDAV server?
  • Yes.

Oh, sorry, I wasn't thinking here. The Android app doesn't yet support WebDAV (and so you never even configured it in the settings). This is just trying to download files from Zotero Storage, which aren't there if you're using WebDAV.
  • Thank you, I see. I hope to configure WebDAV on Android.
