Is there a reason that I can't export multiple items from my JSTOR workspace to my Zotero library using the "folder" button of the browser plugin?

The folder appears when I conduct a search, but if I save items from different searches into my workspace, or a folder therein, that workspace or folder page will not register as containing multiple items--the folder button doesn't show up, it's just a "webpage."
