  • Not clear what you mean. Can you say more?

If you're trying to access a WebDAV server with a self-signed certificate, see Cert Override.

I have cer certificate file. I add to firefox these ways. Open Firefox and go to Options:
Click Privacy & Security in the left-hand menu and scroll down to Certificates.
Click View Certificates... and the Certificate Manager window displays.
Click Authorities and then Import....Browse to locate the downloaded ca. ... Click OK.

I want open zotero account on zotero but i give an error.
error message is" api.zotero.org uses an invalid security certificate."

    I installed zotero with flatpack.

I still don't know what you mean here. A .cer certificate file for what?

api.zotero.org obviously has a valid certificate. If you're seeing something different, your connection is being intercepted. See SSL Certificate Error.
  • Our institution requires us to install a certificate or it blocks access to the web.

The page I linked to above includes instructions for adding a custom certificate authority:

    https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/cert_override#custom_certificate_authority

As noted there, it might just work if you try the Zotero 7 beta.
