Read-only Annotations

Hi,
I have the problem that all the pdf color codings I make with a program other than Zotero are read-only in Zotero which means I cannot add any tags to my markings. Is there a possibility to "unlock" these markings or completely avoid the read-only status?

File → "Import Annotations…" can move annotations to Zotero and make them editable.

Hi, stupid question, but where is the Import Annotations options in Zotero version 6.0.30 on Windows?

I would like to experiment with this, as I use Zoo for Zotero to sync annotations with my tablet for easier reading, but these annotations are uneditable in the Zotero PDF reader.

@deanrance You have to be in a PDF reader tab.
