Unable to sync

Hi, today I updated my Zotero to last version (2.0b7.4) and I am unable to sync (still). I have been trying to do so for months and it's frustrating, really... the error shown is the "Uploaded data not well-formed" one, which I thought had been corrected (I think I read that somewhere).

The report ID is the following one: 489076044

I have my username and password in the Preferences Settings set properly (well, I have the same username and password than here in the forums, that is ok, no?).

I am running Firefox 3.5.3 now under linux Fedora Core 8 distro, but this error also happened under Firefox 3.0 previously.

I would really appreciate if someone could point out what i am doing wrong. Thanx a lot.
  • I am still having the same problem...

Someone can help me fix it, please...? I would love to sync my library and I have no clue on what's wrong (which is the "not well-formed" data?)

    Thanks
  • Me again... tried to delete the entry that apparently is causing the problem (I checked the logfile), and even when I did it I keep having the same problem:

    Report ID: 570a69a397

I reported it, but I don't know if this is what I should do. In any case, I just checked my local zotero storage folder and *that file is there*. I restarted Firefox. The same.

Does this make sense? Zotero is pointing to a file which exists, but I did delete it from zotero... should I delete it directly from my computer or will this only make things worse...?
  • there is a trash icon at the bottom of your list of collections. Right click -> empty trash
and the file should be deleted from the computer.
  • Thanks a lot, I'm afraid this was not obvious to me... I has the "Module not synced" problem after that, but then when I synced manually everything worked perfectly!

Now I can start figuring out how to use the WebDav...
