Tag too long to sync to server

Hello,

I downloaded a search from Scopus and it looks like none of the tabs are separated by semi-colons. These tags are now too long to sync with the server and I risk losing everything. Yet I cannot find a way to automatically separate the tags and if I try to do so on the pop up it doesn't save as its still too long.

would I have to do this all manually?

  • This is a problem with the data from Scopus — they're specifying keywords incorrectly. If you tell us how to reproduce the search, we can try to correct for it, but it's a problem on their end.

But in the meantime, you'd probably want to use the Delete option in that dialog for each item. You could also sort by Date Added, delete the whole set of imported items, and use find/replace in a text editor to remove the erroneous tags in the RIS/BibTeX/whatever file you imported.
