In the new interface, it is impossible to select single field BEFORE entering an author--it was possible in Z6.
Use case: I usually cut and paste the name from the web or pdf as First Last into the single field, then switch to two fields to get the proper order. In the current interface I have to paste into the Last field, then fiddle with the field twice to get to the single field, then again to Last, First.

FeralFloraOh, bummer. I hadn't encountered that yet, but this is also what I always do.

kwtaylorSame. I often have to cite organizations for scientific reports. Single field is best for this. Having to enter information into First and Last to use this option is a pain point.
