doi request

HI,

I am using the IEEE style and notice that the references picked up in the bibliography dont include https://www.doi.org/ at the front, and dont get stored in the reference with that url. If I wanted that to be be added to all doi urls that get picked up, could I ask please if I am doing the right thing here ?

I have created a csl that has validated but Zotero is not picking it up for some reason.
Here is the original ieee code: (attached as png)

Am I barking up the wrong tree?

This would NEVER get to the second else-if, as 100% of cases will already be handled by the first else-if (they are identical in what they test for).

What do you want to achieve?

When that goes into a word doc bibliography it lists also as 10/gtgd2m

I want it to list in zotero and in word as https://www.doi.org/10/gtgd2m

is that possible?

I tried the second ver and it still left the word 'accessed'. so I am not sure what I did there.

your approach above putting https://doi.org/ into the prefix is right for that.

Wow, it all works. I was about to give up so thanks @adamsmith for your comment. The only thing I changed from yesterday was to add a space at the front of the prefix, as the https was up against the comma from the reference without a space and not linking the url. Here it is.
