Zotero Connector Error

After clicking the Zotero icon (add/edit citation) in google docs it opens a new window for me to link to my google account. After linking it says

Connector Authorisation Complete
You have authenticated successfully. This page should close automatically. If it does not, please generate a report ID and post on the Zotero forums.

The window does not close automatically. So I'm posting here.

There's a bug in Safari at the moment that we are unable to reproduce and fix. You will have to switch to Chrome or Firefox in the meantime to work with Google Docs.
