zotero not saving articles from several sites

I have tried with chrome and microsoft edge with the extensions and they both appear to work, i see the list of articles downloading, but they never show up in my library. Or, I have 50 articles selected, and only three appear in the checkbox, but no matter what, they never enter my library. I really cannot do this by hand because I am dealing with hundreds and hundreds of articles.

    You should be getting error messages, but if you're downloading hundreds and hundreds of articles, there's a good chance you're hitting https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/site_access_limits

    I am having issues with sites that dont appear to have known issues: web of science, scopus, and ebsco. I finally got web of science to let me save 30 articles last night, but only ten at a time, which is fine. Now today it says error but there's no error code or anything. I am totally lost on how to make this work. With Web of science, I am also now getting an error, I don't understand how to figure out the issue. It just says error and has a link for troubleshooting, none of which have helped.

    Did you read the Site Access Limits link? If you're trying to download pages and pages of results at a time, it's almost certainly that. It doesn't have anything to do with known issues.

    We try to have Zotero space out requests in a reasonable manner, and there may be sites where we can improve that, but ultimately, if you're downloading hundreds of articles at a time, you're essentially asking Zotero to be a bot, and many sites will block you the same way they'd block any other bot.
