MS Word: Style "IEEE" - Titles aren't italic any more after deleting one Citation
Hello,
I started using zotero some days ago for my master thesis.
As I am studying in a technical direction, I should use the "IEEE" style. In that style e.g. book titles are displayed italic in the bibliography.
However, after some time I realized that the titles aren't displayed italic any more. I spent quite a lot of time to determine what could be the reason. I finally think that I found the root cause. Here are the steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Adding titles successively is working ([1], [2], [3] --> still italic)
- Now deleting the citation [1] and refreshing (either manually or automatic) --> titles in bibliography aren't italic any more
In that case it seems like the word document kind of is broken after that. Even after deliting all citations and the bibliography, also when unlinking the citations at first, the titles still aren't italic any more after that action. Copying the text into a new document leads to the same behaviour there.
Summary: "IEEE" style is only working correctly when adding citations in the right order and never change the order again. After changing it one time, the document seems to be broken.
I have been using the latest release version 6 and now even tried the version 7 beta, which is showing the same behavior.
Could you help me with that issue? Is that a bug and can it be reproduced from your side?
Thank you in advance!

Since two out of the three example titles I used, had quite a long title, I always ran into that problem after changing the order. Fixed it, by adding a dummy copy with short title for my first reference and using that in Word.
Thank you for the fast help!
