I am looking for a way to delete all of the attachments for entries either a) in a specific collection or b) with a specific tag. I can work with either, though would prefer the tag option.

I have done the advanced search method of trying to delete all attachments, however this does not seem to combine well with limiting the attachments in question to either a collection or a tag.

Here's what I've tried in advanced search:

A) Item type -- is -- attachment AND Tag -- is -- my tag --> this returns nothing unless I check the "Include parent and child items of matching items," but then it includes parent items (they are NOT greyed out), which I don't want to delete (and thus negating the convenience provided by the select all-->move to trash functionality)

B) Item type -- is -- attachment AND Collection -- is -- my collection --> same as above

C) (just to see if it would work) Attachment file type -- is -- PDF AND Tag -- is -- my tag --> same as above

D) (just to see if it would work) Attachment file type -- is -- PDF AND Collection -- is -- my collection --> same as above

Any strategies to get around this?
