Feature Request: Decode Percent-Encoding in URLs and Auto-Fetch Web Page Titles

I've noticed that when adding items to Zotero, URLs with percent-encoding are displayed as they are, which can be cumbersome for readability and searchability.

I propose a feature to automatically decode these URLs for a cleaner display.

Additionally, it would be highly beneficial if Zotero could automatically fetch the title of a webpage when its URL is added. This would streamline the process of adding webpages and improve overall efficiency.

    Can you provide an example? This just isn't always an option — e.g., a space really needs to be %20.

    It does, obviously — Zotero always saves the highest-quality metadata from across the web, but the absolutely lowest fallback always saves the page title, so I don't know what you mean here.

    Unless you mean that you're manually pasting a URL into the URL field Zotero? You should never do that — that's what the Zotero Connector is for.
