Conversion from Word 16.74 to Open Office. I can´t use Zotero citations in the new document

I am working with Word 16.74 and using Zotero for my appointments. It works fine, but I want to work on a MacBook Air on which I don't have an Office license, so I´m using Open Office. I have the Zotero plugin installed, but it does not recognize the quotes already included in the text, nor does it let me enter new ones.

What do I have to do so that when I convert from .docx to .odt I can still use the Zotero quotations?
