First, to be clear, data would only be deleted on sync if you (or someone else with access to your library, such as on a shared computer) deleted it. Zotero only syncs explicit deletions.
But you should be able to restore from one of the .bak files. You should follow the steps in the section I linked to.
English is not my native language, but I try to explain what I had done.
I hadn't synced my library for a few weeks, so I had disconnected my account in Settings.
Yesterday I wanted to synchronize again and started it manually.
Unfortunately, after the synchronization, most of my books and notes were deleted.
Before the dubbing I had 370 books, after that I had 150.
I immediately stopped and disconnected the sync.
I now have 4 sqlite files
Saved with/after the wrong synchronization
zotero.sqlite
zotero.sqlite-journal
Saved without/before the incorrect synchronization
zotero.sqlite.1.bak
zotero.sqlite.bak
How can I do the backup now? Unfortunately my English is bad and I'm afraid I'll mess things up even more.
What do I have to do to upload the backup?
Thanks you very much.
