Zotero not syncing

Hi,
my zotero is not syncing. I insert the right username and password because they work in the web platform, but not in the local app. I receive Invalid username or password, but this error makes no sense since I can login on my account. Any idea?

Tks
  • I'm not seeing any sync login attempts from you today. Make sure you're actually clicking Set Up Syncing in the settings.
  • Hi, I changed my username to cmartinellineto. I am sure I am clicking Set Up Syncing otherwise I would not receive any error message. Again I receive Invalid username or password. With the same credentials I access this environment. This really makes no sense. Please check if there are bugs related to syncing.
  • There are still no sync login attempts from you.
I am sure I am clicking Set Up Syncing otherwise I would not receive any error message.
No, you would see an error to the left of the sync button in the Zotero toolbar if you're just closing the Sync settings and clicking the Sync button instead of actually clicking Set Up Syncing in the settings. There's a good chance that's what's happening here.

If you're sure you're clicking "Set Up Syncing" — which is the literal text that appears on the button — provide a Debug ID for doing so.
  • I couldn't send a Debug_ID, but here are some diagnostic messages.

  • It's the message at the bottom. Zscaler is blocking Zotero sync
  • I was afraid of it. I supposed this could be the reason, but I had closed Zscaler. Neverheless I had a specific proxy configured that was blocking the connection. Now I set Automatic detection under Control Panel => Internet options and it worked. Thanks a lot!
