How to open linked files in iOS apps

I use Zotero on two PCs (both Windows) and an iPad (iOS app).

I can open files (PDF) uploaded on one PC with the iOS Zotero app without any problems, but I cannot open files uploaded on the other PC.
Apparently, when I upload a file on the latter PC, it becomes a linked file, which is why I can't open the file with the iOS app.

I would like to be able to open files uploaded on both PCs using the iOS Zotero app. If you know anything, could you please let me know?

File synchronization is set to webDAV, and the basic directory for linked files is set to Google Drive. The two computers have the same settings.
Also, the synchronization destination for iOS files is set to webDAV.

Thank you in advance.
  • Only stored files are supported on iOS. If you're getting linked files when you save, you installed and configured some plugin (probably ZotFile) that's doing that.

You can convert existing linked files to stored files via Tools → Manage Attachments → Convert Linked Files to Stored Files.

Thank you very much. I didn't know how to convert. The problem was resolved successfully.
