Only seeing "My Library" to sync--NOT the many subfolders

Hello,
I'm working with a student who is running out of storage space. When we go to choose which libraries to sync in their sync tab, we can only see "My Library" and not any of the subfolders in my library. So, we can't choose specific collections to sync to the web and free up space. I can't recreate this behavior on Windows 11, but they are using Windows 10 Pro. Has anyone come across this and have a fix?

I'm not sure why you think you can choose individual collections to sync? That's not supported and never has been, and doesn't really make sense — all items always appear in the library root. The button to open that window is "Choose Libraries…", and that's what it lets you do.
  • Thank you, @dstillman. I realize that I was looking at my GROUP libraries--not "My Library." I can sync my group libraries, but not my personal one on the machine.

  • Sorry, not sure what you mean. Did you figure this out, or are you still having trouble?
  • Hi @dstillman: I was the problem. Problem solved :). Thank you for your quick reply!

(in short: I assumed I could sync personal collections like I could "group libraries." Now I understand that is not possible).
  • Well…what do you mean by that? Just to be clear, collections within any library will sync. You just can't choose not to sync individual collections within a library. There's no difference between My Library and group libraries here.
