There's no general problem. Restart Zotero, and if it's still happening disable all third-party plugins.

This method cannot work, the problem still remain, I would try to set zotero 7 back to 6.

If there's a problem in Zotero 7, you should work with us to debug it, or else it won't get fixed.

What exactly is happening when you try to empty the trash? Can you provide a Debug ID for reproducing this?

Debug ID is D1909307584.
Some files in recycle bin cannot be deleted while others can. This problem remains both in 6&7.

database disk image is malformed

Your Zotero database appears to be corrupted. See Corrupted Database. It looks like you have your data directory in some sort of cloud storage folder, where it absolutely can't be.
