Installation and use of Libreoffice plugin fails on Ubuntu 22.04.3 using zotero-snap
I am trying to install the Libreoffice Zotero plugin on a fresh Ubuntu 22.04.3 install. I have installed zotero using snap (version 6.0.27). When it initially tried to automatically install the plugin, zotero was unable to find my Libreoffice installation. Instead I tried a manual install navigating to the location in the snap zotero install where the extension was located and double clicking on it. This tries to install the extension, but it fails with an error:
(com.sun.star.uno.RuntimeException){{Message="[JavaVirtualMachine]:An unexpected error occurred while searching for a Java, 11 ./stoc/source/javavm/javavm.cxx:634", Context = (com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0}}
After this, the extension buttons appear in Libreoffice, but they seem to do nothing.
Is there a solution to this issue? I have seen older posts about problems with the snap, but it isn't exactly clear whether I should abandon the snap or unsandbox it.
Thanks,
David

You wouldn't happen to know if there is a way to transfer my existing profile from the snap installation to the official installation?
