How to search for PDFs from a specific folder

I am using Zotero across two devices and all my papers are stored in OneDrive. My account storage is full - so I have to re-download the PDF on each device despite the entry being logged. How do I tell Zotero to search for PDFs of any entry from a specific folder i.e. my OneDrive folder

By default, Zotero stores PDF attachments locally under the Zotero\storage\ folder hierarchy (and can sync them across devices, up to your file storage limit). The alternative to that is to have your PDFs stored as linked files (eg using the Zotfile plugin, to establish links pointing to the PDF on Onedrive). Note the restrictions of linked files: they don't work with groups, or the iOS app - so if one of your devices is an iOS device, linked PDFs won't work.

Your data syncing stays turned ON, so data is synced across devices by Zotero (and does not count towards your file storage limit). But Zotero file syncing is turned OFF - you are responsible for syncing the PDF attachment files across your devices.
