How does one create a footnote/endnote that simply provides additional information to the text but is not a source from My Library?

Just use your word processor's built-in function for that. These footnotes will appear in order with Zotero inserted ones

Thank you for such a prompt and simple reply. That's what I tried and it seemed to work fine. So you use Zotero only for citations and just manually add narrative notes as if you were not using Zotero at all, right?
