Search bar clears and resets

Hello,

I am having some trouble with the built-in search bar. I will type in a search, it brings up the results and as soon as I click on the library the search disappears and resets. It doesn't matter which setting e.g. "Title, Creator, Year", "Everything" etc. Sometimes it begins to work after waiting a few minutes after startup and sometimes it doesn't.

Any ideas?

I am on a Windows 11 machine with version 6.0.26 version of Zotero.

  • Do you have a large number of feeds that are getting refreshed after starting Zotero? Does it keep happening after the initial startup time?

    I do have a lot of feeds but I could only ever get a few of them to work. I went through and deleted the ones that weren't working and then made sure all of the other feeds were only updating once per day. I have restarted Zotero multiple times and it seems to be working better now. I will post again in a week to confirm.
