Upgrade Storage[Z7 Beta] Zotero doesn't respect system colour scheme anymore
I'm using 7.0.0-beta.39+ecba25be0 on KDE Plasma 5.27.4. After updating the beta today (I skipped a few versions) Zotero does not seem to respect the system colours anymore when highlighting text. Instead highlighted text is now highlighted in a blue colour. As previous versions respected my system defaults, I assume that this is not intended.
(Another small aesthetic pet peeve: I would find it nice if the annotation toolbar was centered above the reader pane - currently it seems to be centered between the search icon and the toggle sidebar switch, which means that it usually appears somewhat left of center of the pdf viewer).

Selected text in the new reader currently has to use a hard-coded value everywhere for technical reasons, but we'll restore use of the system highlight color in a future update.
We'll fix the centering of the tools. (It's not actually doing what you say — there's just a breakpoint where it jumps to the left at a certain window size, for unclear reasons.)
