Cannot download/install Zotero connector on Firefox

Hi all,

Recently, I've switched to using Firefox. However, I am unable to download the Zotero connector via the download page. When I click the download button, it is stuck on loading. I've inspected the button and got this website: https://www.zotero.org/download/connector/dl?browser=firefox&version=5.0.111, but I have the same problems there as well. After many refreshes and a Firefox and pc restart, the browser started to download the addon but then it was stuck on verifying the file. Anyone has any idea how to get the addon? If there is a mirror available with the single file, I could download it via other means and then install it. In the Firefox store however, I could not find any Zotero addon.

    There's nothing wrong with the link. If it's not working for you, that's a problem with your Firefox installation or network. You can try right-clicking and saving to disk or saving to disk from another browser, or you can ask someone to do so and send you the file. You can then install the XPI from the Firefox extensions pane.

    I tried to download it from Chrome, but it was stuck in the same manner. However, I've found that Firefox has a troubleshooting mode and I managed to download it via that way! So if anyone has a similar trouble (which seems to be the matter when I Googled the problem), this worked for me.

    Thank you for your reply, it ensured there wasn't anything wrong with the link so something was amiss on my side.
