Changing standard app for viewing Snapshots

I'm very new to zotero and when it was asking me with which app i wanted to view snapchots i selected "always with Adobe Acrobat Reader". However you do need a subscription to turn images into pdf's. Thus i want to change the app I view snapshots with but don't know where I can change this.
  • Wait, what are you referring to? You're talking about webpage snapshots? In Zotero 6 snapshots open in your computer's default web browser. In the Zotero 7 beta they open in the built-in reader by default (and there's a setting for changing it). There's not a setting for changing that in Zotero 6 because you should never even be prompted for that.

Yeah im talking about Zotero 6 when in the app I pressed view snapshot and got a bunch of options to choose from, i chose adobe but would like to change that now.

(So in the app when going trough my files, i can right click on a Titel and press view snapshot, that opens adobe now and some add about how i need to get adobe Pro to view images as pdf)

    Thanks for awnsering so quickly
  • I'm not sure how you got that prompt, but see the top entry here:

  • I think the prompt @Bijngensg was referring to was from the system. You need to change the file associations settings for .html files in your system settings and assign the default app you want.
