Upgrade StorageZotero Connector Not Saving Journal Article PDFs in Firefox on Mac
I am just getting started with Zotero and am having some issues; I am not sure if I am misunderstanding how Zotero works fundamentally, or if it is an actual issue.
I am using Zotero 6.0.26 on macOS Ventura 13.3.1. I also have the Zotero Connector plugin 5.0.111 that I use with Firefox 116.0.3.
When I am trying to use to Connector plugin to save journal articles from sites such as ACS, the actual journal article PDF isn't saving to the desktop app. I have access through my institution so it should work. A good example is with this article: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs.jmedchem.3c00761.
When I first open my browser, and haven't done my single sign on (through shibboleth), I get this result when I try to save with the Connector plugin:
After I sign in and access through my institution, adding with the Connector plugin still doesn't save the PDF:
Even after clicking the "PDF" button on the ACS website, saving with the Connector plugin still doesn't work:

dstillmanedited August 28, 2023There's a known issue with PDF downloads from ACS after a site change. Workaround described in that thread. This wouldn't be a general problem.
