Zotero 7: Crash from Retrieve Metadata button
Steps to reproduce:
1) Add a PDF file without parent item which does not give any result for a Retrieve Metadata ("No matching reference found")
2) Right-Click on that PDF file ->
3) Close the popup window from the top right
[At this stage, the Retrieve Metadata icon next to the sync wheel in the top right does not disappear, which is probably already a bug?]
4) Click on Retrieve Metadata icon next to the sync wheel in the top right
5) Close the popup window from the top right
6) Right-Click ->
At this step, Zotero crashes and disappears.

I don't know how to provide information beyond step 5.

Zotero does not crash anymore after step 6.
The only thing that I do not understand is why using the top right
X
at step 3 still keeps the Retrieve Metadata icon next to the sync wheel in the top right, while clicking onClose
removes it. Is there any reason to keep that icon in the top right?Debug ID for the same steps: D660462868
