No, they're a Wiki, but edit access is significantly restricted because there's been a ton of spam/vandalism in the past. Posting here and asking for an update is fine
I'm happy to add a label for any add-on that's compatible on zotero.org/support/plugins if either the developer or someone who has tested posts (we also should add some of the newer plugins like better-notes etc.
All my plugins are "disabled". I cannot see any way to reactivate them, suggesting that they are all dead now. I have tried updating, but it only shows "Updating add-ons" which never goes again, suggesting that nothing is happening. I have the plugin PDF Preview (Release 0.3.7 from Oct. 18, 2022) which was installed from Zotero 6. It is indicated above that it should be compatible with Zotero 7. What am I missing to reactivate the plugin? Windows 10, Zotero 7.0.0-beta.4+744e73bfd (64-bit)
zotero-pdf-preview isn't actually compatible yet, though good chance the required changes are trivial (currently it fails to install because the manifest is invalid, I think because it still contains overlay) -- I assume northword listed it because it's based on a template that's compatible in general, but it's based on an earlier version that wasn't yet.
You can try re-installing, but in all likelihood, disabled add-ons are, in fact, not compatible.
As far as I'm aware, currently compatible add-ons are basically those based on windingwind's template (i.e. those listed above and potentially a couple of others). None of the major older add-ons -- e.g. Zutilo, ZotFile, BetterBibTeX, DOI Manager -- are currently compatible. BBT's dev is working on it. I've not seen much relevant movement at Zutilo and ZotFile and ZotFile, in particular, is going to be pretty substantial.
ZoteroGPT is ostensibly compatible but none of the functionality appears to work. The button appears in the library but does nothing when pressed. The key combination used to activate it doesn't work.

All but the two plugins that were already Z7 compatible a while back, were disabled here and couldn’t be updated automatically. I had to choose the xpi file from Github manually for Zotero Better Notes for it to update. This can be done from inside the addon dialog which now opens an embedded browser, so no manual download steps are necessary any more.

@gduffner: Not sure what you mean here. There shouldn't be any embedded browser in the Add-ons pane. If you're seeing something like that, can you open a new thread and explain what you mean?
There was a broken update link in the earlier builds of better notes (1.0.0 and 1.0.1). Please install 1.0.2+ manually and it should be able to update automatically.
Thank you, @hsiangyu_wong. I have installed it and am eager to get to know it better. I think, though, there are quite a few things I use Zutilo for that are not there. Do you know if Zutilo is at risk?
Thanks, @tim820. It looks like we might be in trouble. I'll post a request to the forum, seeking to know which of the Zutilo functions users consider most essential. Perhaps we can focus on making sure those are available, either in Zutilo or by another means.
These plugins are already compatible with Zotero 7:
https://github.com/northword/zotero-format-metadata
https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-pdf-translate
https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-pdf-preview
https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-better-notes
https://github.com/redleafnew/zotero-updateifsE
https://github.com/MuiseDestiny/zotero-gpt
Of course, there are some other plugins that are already compatible but I didn't list them.

The preview, as in the last one, should really be in the core application.

oh, sorry, i was mistaken, the pdf-preview has the compatibility with Zotero7 done, in the zo7 branch, but not yet officially built and released.

Hope you are all well.
I believe there is a need to pin the add-ons that are updated to work with Zotero 7 as info about them is scattered in many posts.

Basic Discussion about Sci-hub zotero add-on development can be found here:

We can also simply search for and modify the "engines.json" to add any suitable source to the menu of look up for items by duplicating the google or suitable seach engine and simply change the URL. For example:
{
"_name": "Anna Archive title and author",
"_alias": "Anna Archive",
"_description": "AnnaArchive Lookup",
"_icon": "https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/sOX00LxhvUoMVoBEtSGXV9t10d57n4G1Q26wGc2nDmbh2l_elVUti-ULnTsUBnDlNM4_aab70w=s128-h128-e365",
"_hidden": false,
"_urlTemplate": "https://annas-archive.org/search?q={z:title}+{rft:aufirst?}+{rft:aulast?}",
"_urlParams": [],
"_urlNamespaces": {
"z": "http://www.zotero.org/namespaces/openSearch#"
},
"_iconSourceURI": "https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/sOX00LxhvUoMVoBEtSGXV9t10d57n4G1Q26wGc2nDmbh2l_elVUti-ULnTsUBnDlNM4_aab70w=s128-h128-e365"
},
Hope this post can be pinned and if other addons are updated to be added here.
Many thanks for Zotero developers for great features in in the new version and for add-on developers for their great and highly useful additions
Best regards
Actions and Tags (https://github.com/windingwind/zotero-actions-tags) can partly take the place of Zutilo. It's already available on Zotero 7.
