Different documents display in preview and sidebar

Problem description: When I open an attachment from "My Library", the preview and sidebar correspond to different documents.

Platform:
MacOS 13.4
Zotero 6.0.26

Steps to reproduce:
1. double click an item in My Library to open its default attachment
2. open the metadata ("Info" "Tags" "Related") sidebar
3. notice that the whole sidebar shows metadata from a random other paper
4. try opening/closing the sidebar, notice nothing changes

    Do you have any plugins installed? I remember something the sidebar wasn't refreshed when I clicked on another file, but after a moment it started showing the right one

    Zotero Night is the usual culprit here, IIRC

    @adamsmith thanks for the heads up I will try getting rid of the plugin.
    Any clue when we will have native darkmode?

    @danielborek, thanks for the tip on the delay, I had not thought to wait for that.
    I can confirm that 30 minutes later I do see the sidebar updated.
    I don't know the actual timing of the delay.
    It's definitely longer than a few minutes

    Without darkmode, my attachment preview life is about to get a lot more painful

    I believe the Zotero Night developer has said that he's focussing on the Zotero 7 version (which is now available, it seems), so this bug won't get fixed for Zotero 6 but should either be or get fixed for the Z7 version.

    So I just installed the 7.0.0 beta. TLDR: its more like an alpha than a beta

    The issue above is fixed, but it's a mute point because the Mac menu doesn't work and Cmd+Tab somehow switches App context without actually bringing up the Zotero window at all...

    You mean the Zotero 7.0.0 beta? That's been in beta for quite some time with thousands of people using it, so if you're seeing something fundamentally broken, that's unlikely to be the Zotero beta, but may well be the Zotero Night update, which is quite recent.

    OK it's working after a logout/login and zotero restarted!

    Idk, my version is "7.0.0-beta.37+075457be4".

    My reading of "https://www.zotero.org/support/beta_builds" is they don't yet tag releases beyond 6.x
