i did the same mistake and restored to a previous version but there was too many changes that i did within this time. I am french and my english is not that good. I was just hoping to unlink citations from my bibliography so the references would not change from the presentation i manually did. Got my all document unlinked. Now the message keeps popping that my citations are unlinked but what is the use if zotero cannot provide help to restore them? How frustrating. Let me know if a solution was found since apart restoring to a former version which doesnt work for me.
There should not be a message popping up about unlinked citations in a document in which you used the unlink citation button. That document would behave like one in which you have never used Zotero. But there's no way to relink the citations -- that's simply not possible, I'm afraid.
Oh ok thanks for your answer. So that might mean that I eventually restored to a previous version but since I always have this message with a long list of citations that are unlinked I thought they were all unlinked. If there's only a portion of them unlinked, it this a different situation and is it possible to relink them ?
Here is the screen shot. The message says ""Ces citations ne sont plus liées à Zotero. Vous devez les lier à nouveau pour qu'elles soient mises à jour ou apparaissent dans votre bibliographie"
What does zotero imply when it says i shall relink these citations ? Should i remove each one of them and do an new citations for each or shall "relink" some field somewhere ?

This doesn't have anything to do with the Unlink Citations option.
