I'm posting to see if there's a way to resolve an issue that I (and I think potentially many others) might be having with trying to save PDFs of articles from American Chemical Society journals. This is most likely caused by an update that ACS has made to their website, as when you click on the link to open the PDF of an article it now takes you to a new interactive pdf viewing platform instead of just opening the PDF in the web browser or in adobe. I think this might be causing some communication issues with the connector and the website, because I can get the other article data saved in Zotero, like normal, but it will not save the PDF file. I am not having this issue on other journal websites, which is why I think it might be caused by the new PDF viewer on the ACS website. For reference, I use chrome and the zotero connector.
