Upgrade StorageZotero 7: Tiny highlighted areas
The Select Area highlights produces invisible tiny highlighted areas by accidental clicks.
- Select the Select Area button in the PDF viewer
- Then make fast clicks in the PDF area.

They become visible (as a tiny yellow dot or line) only when zooming in.
It would probably make sense to set a minimum area to actually save the highlight, to avoid these accidental highlights.
This contrasts with the minimum area that it is possible to highlight when resizing the highlighted area, which is too large to highlight a single line of text or a specific item in a figure.
