Report ID 1498511746 (Synch and Speed)
Hey!
I just installed zotero yesterday and imported my 3000 reference endnote library (with about 300 pdfs) and the same number of attached (to the references) lengthy (over 5 pages) notes. I am encountering two problems: First, the synch functions doesn't appear to be working (see Report ID 1498511746). I just get a message that my database is too large. How can it be? Second, and potentially related, zotero is extremely slow and gets 'hang-ups' of over 3min whenever I try to add and/or modify new references (websites no pdfs). I have not installed the indexing function and - as indicated above - am obviously new to zotero, though it seems great and i hope someone can help me to sort this so that i can kiss endnote goodbye.
Thanks!

The slowness is strange. I also have a 3000+ item library with loads of PDFs, even with indexing enabled, and I don't get these 'hang-ups'. Does this happen with any newly added reference? Can you give an example URL?
There is a timeout of 5-30 secs for me when I manually drag an OCR-ed PDF onto it; that is because of the indexing service.
