CMD+W cannot close Zotero in macOS at Zotero 7 beta

CMD+W can close the PDF tab, but cannot close Zotero window in home tab.

Hope to solve it.

macOS: 14.0 Beta(23A5312d)
Zotero: 7.0.0-beta.34+367ecb66c

    Cmd-w is to close tab, Cmd-q is to close Zotero

    Thanks. But in the Zotero 6, cmd+w in main tab can close Zotero. I think it's better for the user with macOS, with keeping Zotero work in background.

    You can always use Cmd-m to minimize.

    In Zotero 7, Cmd-w will only close the main window when you have no other tabs open. The library tab itself can't be closed, so rather than have Cmd-w do something inconsistent when you're on the first tab, we just disable it, which also avoids accidental window closing. (Accidental closing is particularly problematic on Windows and Linux, but it's still annoying on macOS. You can always click the red button to close the window (or minimize it, as poettli says) on macOS.)
