Cannot access document preferences

    Hi I am having exactly the same issue and I cannot even access to the document preferences to change the preferences. What can I do?

    (Please start new threads for new issues — the thread you posted to isn't related. I've moved this to a new thread.)

    Restart Zotero and try again, and if you're still having trouble, check to make sure that the dialog isn't just appearing behind the main Zotero window.

    If you can't figure it out, restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID for an attempt that fails.

    but my problem is that I can't add any citation at all. the progress bar is stuck. I have reinstalled the plugin in Word but also doesn't work.

    How large is the document, and how long have you waited? Does it work in a new, empty document?

    You should also try disabling third-party plugins.
