I am working in a digital humanities research team and we have a web-based research platform for the studies of primary historical sources. We are hoping to integrate Zotero into our research website to allow easier tracking and referencing of the sources published on our site. The vision is that we first update all relevant references in the Zotero library, and our research platform can then read or link directly to Zotero, i.e., for any cited item on our website, we hope to enable a hyperlink (or something similar) for the item to retrieve bibliographic information automatically from Zotero. To give an alternative example, you may imagine my webpage like a Wikipedia page with multiple references used in one article, instead of inserting manually the bibliography, is there a way to link the references cited in the article to the items I already added to the Zotero library, please? I hope this clarifies my question.

Could you kindly advise whether the above is doable and how we may achieve this, please?
