Zotero Connector not fetching PDFs from JSTOR

Zotero v. 6.0.26

The Zotero connector is not fetching PDFs alongside the citation from JSTOR. I've tried using Chrome and Firefox. All other extensions have been removed from browsers.

Steps to recreate problem:
1. Zotero desktop program running
2. Navigate to JSTOR
3. Login through university proxy
4. Search for article
5. Fetch citation using Zotero Connector
6. Connector fetches citation but does not fetch PDF with it. Displays red X next to PDF.

I had a look at the error report and I think it might have to do with my proxy server's security certificate?

Let's start with a URL exactly as you see it. Also, do try to download a PDF manually and accept the terms and conditions. SOmetimes that helps on JSTOR.

Have tried already to do the PDF manual download - still no pdf grab.

yeah, not a general issue. @dstillman will need to look at the debug -- that's from Zotero or the connector? They'll need this from the Zotero app for PDFs not downloading.

[JavaScript Error: "www-jstor-org.proxy.library.[…]:443 uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.
The server might not be sending the appropriate intermediate certificates.
An additional root certificate may need to be imported.

@rosecoli: Your university's proxy server is misconfigured. Share this documentation page with your IT department. They can see that it says "Chain issues: Incomplete" on the SSL Labs test. They'll need to fix the server.
