Upgrade StorageFirst time user
I am trying to use Zotero for the first time. I have verified that I've got the latest version and that the Connector is installed. I'm on a Surface Pro 8 running Windows 11.
The first time I tried to embed a citation, I got the red bar and the red bar stayed for >20 minutes (the color was changing in the red bar so it looked like it was 'working'). I refreshed my page to start over. Now when I click on the Zotero icon, then Add/edit citation, nothing happens. The cursor stays blinking but no red bar and no other changes occur.
Help, please!

Most likely the document preferences window was just appearing behind your other windows. Restart Zotero and your browser and try again, and if it appears stuck look for other windows behind the main Zotero window. If you don't think it's that, you can try disabling other browser extensions.
