Problems rendering complex overlapping elements in PDF

To take advantage of the existing thread,
I also have a pdf with rendering problems, starting with the decorative text on the first page.

It looks like there are some problems generally with complex overlapping elements.
Maybe z-index implementation?
The graph on page 35 is another example.

I put the pdf as a publicly available file in gdrive.

The issue in the thread you posted to is fixed in the Zotero 7 beta. You can test whether this one is as well.
