error merging documents

Please help! I have multiple documents that need merging and it's just doing nothing when I follow the steps required.

    when I look at the duplicate files, I click on them, select the version to be the master, click "merge" and nothing happens.

    It seems that you are merging items in a group library where you don't have edit permissions. Zotero should tell you about it and I've created a ticket to track this issue, but otherwise you need toget edit permissions for this group library if you want to be able to merge duplicate items.

    Were you able to resolve this? Both accounts of yours are an admin in the group, so I'm not sure this was about editing permissions. We're fixing a similar problem that can occur when attachments in the library have annotations created by another user, but I'm not sure that applies in your case.

    If you're still having trouble, we'd want to see a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for reproducing this.
