Openoffice.org Plugin and Word Counts

I noticed yesterday, with my latest college assignment, that the OpenOffice.org word count feature counts the words which are in the Reference Mark of the bibliographic references in the document.

Previously, I am pretty sure that, words in a reference were not counted. I'm not sure if this change is caused by Zotero or by a change in OpenOffice.org, but thought I'd ask here just in case this change in behaviour came from Zotero's end.

    as a workaround you can paste the entire document to a new document, (ctrl+a, ctrl+c, ctrl+n, ctrl+v) remove field codes and then do the word count.
    If you only do this once in a while the 30sec this takes don't really matter.

    ... or even just 'select all' (ctrl-a) and do a word count and pay attention to the count of the current selection.

    Very easy to work around, but if this is a bug in the beta of Zotero, I thought it would be good to inform the developers.
