I have a large multi-chapter book document and would like to refresh selected endnotes without any unwanted updates to the rest. Is that possible? How do I do it?
Thanks, I thought not. My main concern is that if I refresh all, every citation across chapters gets changed to a second reference (CMOS full note style), and I want the first citation of an item in each chapter to be full.
I assume this remains a problem for those of us writing multi-section documents, books?
Correct. The recommendation remains to keep those as separate documents until a final assembly with copies of the chapters that have Zotero citations unlinked.
