Reference list

Hello! Just started using Zotero.

Suddenly there is something wrong with my reference list. All of my references just shows up in the list in one paragraph? What to do? They were adding fine yesterday as they should (alphabetic and with the second line hanging as they should).

    Not clear what you mean by "shows up in the list in one paragraph" — to show what you mean, you can take a screenshot, upload it somewhere (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), and provide a link here — but you should try just deleting the bibliography completely and inserting it again.

    Just meant that the references is not divided. They are all in one text. Not starting each reference in one line. If that makes more sense.

    Shows up like this:
    Reference 1 (2023). Reference 2 (2022). Reference 3 (2019).

    Instead of this:
    Reference 1 (2023).
    Reference 2 (2022).
    Reference 3 (2019).


    I have tried deleting the bibliography, closing and reopening both word and Zotero. But the references is still adding in one text.

    What word processor and full version is this?

    Does it work properly if you insert citations and a bibliography into a new, empty document? I'd guess it's some problem with the Bibliography style in the word processor.

    It helped to open a new document! But will the same occur again, or is it something I can do?

    Try switching to a different style and back in the original document -- that may help to reset the bibliography styling. This shouldn't typically happen, but can occasionally occur.
