Adding shortcuts of highlight text/adding note/ during reading interface

I am using zotero 6.0.27-beta.3. I am wondering if developers could add shortcuts of highlight text/adding note/ during reading interface. Using mouse to select and highlight text during reading papers is somewhat annoying.

No, it is not my question. My question is, when I select a text I am interested in using my mouse in zotero PDF reader, is there a shortcut I can press to highlight it?

There are two highlight modes, both very fast. You can either select some text and then click a color in the popup or you can lock highlight mode on in the toolbar and then every selection will automatically highlight in that color.
