Zotero encountered an error while updating the document when inserting references

I tried the following methods when encountering this problem, but it didn't work:
1.Open a blank document and repeat the operation
2.Ensure that the version is updated to the latest version
3.Restart Zotero 、Word or even my computer
4.Using another Zotero database and reinstall the Word plugin
5.Confirm opening documents as non administrator
6.Reinstall my office system
The special situation I noticed :
1.When using non Chinese citation formats, there will be no errors, and once using Chinese citation formats, this error will occur, any subsequent use of reference formats will result in an error.

    What full, exact Word version?
    When using non Chinese citation formats, there will be no errors, and once using Chinese citation formats, this error will occur, any subsequent use of reference formats will result in an error.
    Could you say more about this? Do you mean that if you've used a Chinese citation style in the document, you won't be able to switch to a different citation style or perform any other Zotero operations in that document? Or something else?

    Some people have reported problems with citations containing Chinese characters when Word is set to Chinese, though we haven't been able to reproduce that ourselves. Try setting Word to English and restarting Word.

  • I think the frequent error have interrupted my work, I can't even use it to insert the Chinese literature I want in document. I have on idea why the error occur. The following video can express my trouble.

    Videos are helpful, but we really need answers to the questions we ask.

    What's the full, exact version of Word?

    Have you tried switching the Word language to English and restarting Word?

    OK, that's fine.

    There's not a lot else we can suggest here, but things you can try:

    - Disabling all other Word add-ins

    - Moving Normal.dotm out of the way and restarting Word so that it's recreated

    - Trying in a new OS user account
  • Thank you for your suggestions. I will try to do that. If there is any progress in the solution to this problem, please contact me. I am a loyal supporter of Zotero and I really don't want to give up using this tool.
