Style update request: American Society for Horticultural Science
Hello,
I'm using the American Society for Horticultural Science style in my dissertation and recently noticed some details that should be addressed.
https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:american-society-for-horticultural-science
Could someone help with these edits?
For Journal Articles - 1. Missing a period after the publication name. 2. Need a comma before the "and" when there is a list of more than two authors.
Example:
Mudalige, R.G., A.R. Kuehnle and T.D. Amore. 2003. Pigment distribution and epidermal cell shape in Dendrobium species and hybrids. HortScience 38:573–577.
For Book Chapters - Missing a period and space between the page numbers and the book title. Example:
Endress, P.K. 1994. Special differentiations associated with pollinator attraction, p. 148–188Diversity and Evolutionary Biology of Tropical Flowers. Cambridge Univ. Press, Cambridge, UK.
In text citations - "et al" is italicized and shouldn't be.
If someone could help with these I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you so much.
Emily

I don't see them use "and" in author lists at all, though.
I have made a completely new style.
Test it out and let me know what I missed.

I added the new style to my document. One thing I noticed - for the Book Section - the "In" doesn't appear in my document (though I see you have it in the example for the style). Is this problem on my end?
