Sync error

Hi there,

I am having trouble syncing. I get the following error report. I tried to generate a debug ID but there was an error with that.

    Thanks for that. I tried changing the proxy settings and still can't get it to work. Is there anything else I can try?

    I am using 10 and tried with and without VPN.

  • It has been working intermittently for the last few months, but now I haven't been able to sync at all for the last 7 days

    All the information we can provide is on the linked page. If this is an institutional computer, you should show that page to your IT department and work with them to troubleshoot this. If this is a personal computer, it's some software you've installed or something about your network configuration. It's not a problem in Zotero itself, and we obviously don't know the details of your network setup.

    Zotero logs a few lines at startup when it checks for a proxy or direct connection, so you can use "Restart with Logging Enabled…" and then view the output to try to see exactly what it's doing, but the basic idea is all as explained on the linked page.
