I have created new documents but still get the same errors everytime.
I'd apprectiate if somebody could help.
  • If you previously enabled Google Docs Integration v2 in the Advanced pane of the Zotero Connector preferences, you should disable it.
  • I’ve tried both. They both error.
  • Can you provide a Debug ID from v1?

Can you provide a Debug ID from Zotero for the same error as well?
  • Can you elaborate.
  • You provided a Debug ID from the Zotero Connector. We need one from the Zotero app.
  • I’m sorry for the 2-3 days of silence. I’ve been experiencing issues with my ISP. I’ll get back to you asap.

Does it work in a new document if you disable all other browser extensions?

    Nope. It’s stuck on updating.
  • Are you sure the citation dialog isn't just behind your other windows? It's part of the Zotero app and sometimes appears in the background. That's by far the most likely problem if you're just clicking Add/Edit Citation in a new, empty document.
  • You should also be sure to refresh the page after disabling the other extensions. The problem in your debug output definitely looks like an extension conflict.

You can also try in a different browser.
  • It works until the point it should write it. So yeah thats the issue.
  • You have to be more descriptive in your responses, otherwise we cannot help you. What do you mean by "It works until the point it should write it". Disable all other extensions but Zotero Connector in your browser, then restart Zotero and the browser. Attempt to cite in a new document. Describe each step and say what happens.
  • I’m sorry for the lack of details.

I’ll retry tonight and write down the steps in detail.
  • It worked this time. I disabled all other chrome extensions. I am currently ruling out the one that break zotero.

01- I open the zotero program,
    02- I open chrome
03- I disabled all other extensions uising chrome://extensions/
04- I open google docs in chrome
    05- I created a new document
06- I typed some random text to try to use zotero
07- I clicked on the zotero tab in google documents
    08- I clicked on add/edit citation
09- I connected my google account (cuz this was the first time in this document)
10- I choose the citation style (The Buck (Dutch)) after which I clicked on ok (selected automatic updating citations)
11- I select the document which we want to cite, and press enter after
    12- It worked
