Citations

Hello,
I have Zotero connector installed in Chrome and I am using Google Docs. I created a copy of a Google document and it was fine, but after a while, when I kept adding text to it, some of the citations stopped linking. I tried to go in and delete them one by one and redo them, but when I click on add citation, I get an error message. What can I do to address this problem? I have tried closing out of Zotero and Chrome and restarting everything, but it doesn't help.
  • See here for unlinked citations: https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/google_docs_citations_unlinked

For an error, we'd need a Report ID from Zotero.
  • Hi, Here is an update and a report id. The update is that I gave up on the problem and:
I opened a brand new Google Document
    Retyped my paper
Adding citations as I typed worked fine for a while
Then, I typed in name of citation in Zotero search box
    Google doc froze
Zotero didn't pull up the citation
    Everything was frozen
    I closed Zotero
    I closed chrome
    I restarted Zotero and Chrome
Tried to insert the citation again
    Same problem
    This is the report ID

  • Can you restart Zotero and provide a Debug ID (different from a Report ID) for reproducing this?

It looks like you've also been using the CSL Editor. Are you using a custom style?
